The La Maddalena Archipelago off the north coast of Sardinia is an unmissable sailing destination, with its stunningly beautiful white-sand beaches and unspoilt anchorages.

Known for its Caribbean-like beaches, turquoise waters, and wild natural beauty, La Maddalena is a paradise that can captivate anyone with its stunning scenery.

Sardinia boasts a Mediterranean climate, making it an ideal sailing destination from May to October. However, it is not recommended for novice sailors due to the Maestrale, Ponente, and Scirocco winds that can create difficult sailing conditions.

Additionally, it is important to remember that Maddalena islands are a protected marine area, so never anchor in sensitive or prohibited areas.

We have carefully selected the top five anchorages in the Maddalena Archipelago. With the help of the Coast View feature on the Keeano app, you can explore every inch of the region in detail.
